| Collinas remains a quiet (apart from Festa times), rural village. The stunning beaches of the Costa Verde on the west coast of the island can be reached in 35 minutes. The bustling, cosmopolitan capital - Cagliari - can also be reached in a similar time. Sardinia is famed for its beaches, trekking on both the West and East coast mountain ranges, wildlife, traditional culture and archaeological sites. The nearest town, Sardara - just 5 km away - is renowned for its thermal springs. During your stay you will be bound to come across many local festas in adjacent villages and towns. Check out the "Things to do" page for a taster of memorable excursions. Our "Links" page will also direct you to other useful web resources. |

La Casa Rosa can be rented throughout the year with arrival and departure dates negotiable in order to fit "best-deal" prices with the low-cost airline companies. All bedlinen and towels are provided. The weekly rental charge of £395 includes electricity and gas. A £50 non-returnable deposit secures your booking with the balance request being made some 6 weeks in advance of occupation. Our colleague, Rosanna, lives in the village. She speaks English very well and will be on hand to deal with any problems. Please note that the accommodation is not suitable for very young children. Car hire is essential and there is nearby parking 100 metres away beside the church as well as by the Market Place. You will be able to off-load your luggage at the door but the streets of the village, in typical Italian style, are very narrow.
